We build sandcastles knowing that gravity has a bigger plan. Many relationships are the same way - built to be destroyed. This is a film about the arc of a relationship told through a few different characters in relationships, all of whom are connected through a neighborhood and apartment building in New York City. With completely improvised conversations, and a realistic look at the sex lives of seven twenty somethings, Sandcastles is a dramedy. Do you build sandcastles?
